# HTL Acquires 8.7 Acres in Sindh to Develop Oil Storage Depot
**KARACHI:** Hi-Tech Lubricants Limited (HTL) has acquired approximately **8.7 acres of land in Daulatpur, Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah), Sindh**, to establish an oil storage depot as part of its strategy to expand its retail fuel station network across the province.
The company, engaged in the procurement and distribution of lubricants and petroleum products, disclosed the development in a notice submitted to the **Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX)**.
HTL said the acquisition marks an important strategic milestone and will provide the storage and supply-chain infrastructure required to support the planned expansion of its **HTL Stations** retail network in Sindh.
The company clarified that development of the proposed depot remains subject to completion of all applicable regulatory approvals and other development requirements.
According to HTL, establishing dedicated storage infrastructure in Sindh will strengthen its operational footprint in southern Pakistan and provide a platform for the phased rollout of its retail network across the province.
The strategically located depot is expected to improve the availability and continuity of petroleum product supplies to HTL’s retail outlets, while also enhancing supply-chain efficiency by reducing transportation distances and logistical lead times.
The facility will also support the company’s plans to add new retail fuel stations across Sindh, enabling further growth of its oil marketing company (OMC) operations.
HTL said the depot would not only facilitate volumetric growth in its OMC segment but also contribute to the company’s long-term geographical diversification and strengthen its market presence in southern Pakistan.
The company added that development and operation of the proposed depot would be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the **Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA)** and other relevant regulatory authorities.
